We have a fantastic opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join our team based at 5 Old Street, Girvan, South Ayrshire KA26 9HG on a part-time, permanent basis.

In return for your enthusiasm and commitment we will offer you: -

• £12.60 per hour
• 14 hours per week, a mixture of shifts over 4 days per week on a 2-week rolling rota, working the following example hours per day with a half hour unpaid break:
• o Week 1 – Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
• §   Working hours 14:30 – 18:30 Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun
• o Week 2 – Wed, Thur, Fri
• §   Working hours 14:30 – 18:30 Thurs, Fri
• §   Working hours 10:00 – 14:00 Wed

What we’re looking for in our Catering Assistant:

You will keep a high standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining room areas, carry out all cleaning duties as outlined in the development-cleaning schedule, help with basic food preparation, serve meals to tenants and when necessary, assist escorting tenants to the dining room.

Catering Assistant Skills and Experience:

This role requires you to have the ability to work as part of a team and have customer service skills. You should also have or be willing to attain a REHIS certificate in Elementary Food Hygiene.
